THE WORK OF MAKS BERGANT

IMG_6938o.png

Maks Bergant’s most prominent and largest works date from the period between 1960 and 1990. It is unfathomable how the master’s hands managed to carve and gild such an immense number of frames for paintings and mirrors, candlesticks and chandeliers, sculpt so many angelic heads, and restore many old carvings.
